I dont’ like rings really.. they are uncomfortable. But, I could wear a nice band with diamonds all around it. Is this ever done?
Of course it is!! For maximum comfort, look for diamond bands where the stones are channel set or drill set, since these rings are smooth with no prongs. An eternity band (diamonds all the way around) may be uncomfortable since there are stones between your fingers. And you risk stones on the bottom falling out. They are not sizable either, so if your ring size changes over the years, you can’t have them resized.
I would go for a band with the diamond all on the front. Look for a band that is "comfort fit," which means its slightly rounded on the inside of the ring instead of flat, which will be the most comfortable to wear and easier to get on and off. And don’t forget to clean your diamonds regularly for maximum sparkle all the time!

I bought a sterling silver solitaire cz ring at Target for $10, and it’s still pretty nice. They also sell sterling silver band & ring set for about 1-20 dollars.

I cant decide what I would like to have.
Purple: Amethyst (one of our wedding colors)
Green: Emerald (one of hubbys favorite colors)
Diamonds: I prefer diamonds.
I would like to purchase a jewelry set: earrings, necklace, braclet and a ring. I want to look like a million bucks, without spending a million bucks. My wedding ring is in white gold, and I LOVE white gold. So anything that I purchase will be in white gold. I have a budget. I know where to get some great deals.

My aunt and uncle bought my fiance and I a wedding ring set when they found out we were talking about marriage…My fiance tried to explain to them that he already bought me an engagement ring and they asked him if they could take the diamonds from the set they bought and get them put in a wedding band for me. He agreed but can this even happen? Do jewelers take diamonds out of rings and put them into new ones? How much would this cost (ballpark) if we wanted the diamonds put in 14KT white gold? The style we were looking at were…

Yes they do do that and if you want you can even design the ring yourself so it suits perfectly.
Out of the two you showed I would go for the first one simply because it is very easy to lose diamonds from underneath a band (from the usual day to day wear).
As for the price, it just depends on who you go to. I have seen private jewelers do rings more elaborate than that for $300 and other through a jewelery store for $800. Ask around.
You might even be able to buy an already made setting off the web and just have them set the stones in it which costs about $100.

Looking for a setting, that is strong, yet beautiful. I want a setting that can held wear and tear.
Can you share the pros or cons to the differentsewttings prong, chatheral, channel, contour….
….just my opinion but I would go with a wide band – wide enough to suit the size of your finger… and get a stone set "flush" into the gold – this would be the strongest…. and always looks in style….hope this helps… good luck with your choice
